Anxiety and Stress
Anxiety can be debilitating and effect how we feel about ourselves, our relationships, our work and our social life.
Some stress is necessary and fundamental to our survival and in reasonable levels can improve our performance, increase our energy levels and help us to achieve what we want achieve. However, as stress levels rise to an unreasonable level, we lose intellectual control and begin to suffer from anxiety.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common chronic condition which affects the digestive system; symptoms can include constipation, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. It is unknown exactly what causes IBS, however it is thought that stress is a major contributing factor.
Stress and anxiety, can trigger chemical changes (controlled by the hypothalamus in the brain) that interfere with the normal workings of the digestive system.
